Caught in a Catch 22 of mammoth proportions, military forces worldwide are faced with new wars and old helicopters. The technology they rely on is 20 to 30 years out of date, with designs that offer inadequate performance, no resistance to small arms fire and un-integrated weapons packages. Third-World military forces are particularly ill-equipped to fight todays conflicts, including worldwide terrorism, hostage crises, border conflicts and low-intensity warfare, because they, too, rely on outdated technology: Vietnam vintage helicopters that share obsolescence, redundancy, poor aerodynamic performance, ballistics vulnerability and no weapons.
AEROCRAFT offers its newly remanufactured, reconfigured helicopters to meet todays air/land battle threats, by incorporating the emerging technologies of the last two decades into its design. One of AEROCRAFT newest helicopters is the Penetrator the only shock assault-lift all composite gunship with a troop-lift capability for a squad of sic soldiers plus a crew of four in the western world. It uses the Hueys very successful rotor system and powertrain as a base, but gives it a new high performance, aerodynamic shape through innovative design. The basic model is an all-composite compounded helicopter with a gross take-off weight (GTOW) of 9,500 pounds. The aircrafts aerodynamic fuselage minimizes profile drag and its wings and elevator unload the rotors during forward flight.
To reduce the Stealth Star's drag, all the machine guns, cannons and some rocket launchers are carried internally. The Stealth Stars weapons pods, rather than the blunt-end types currently in use, are aerodynamic free forms. The Stealth Star commands more cooperative firepower by allowing 360 degrees perimeter capability and greater speed, range, agility and endurance. Its sleek multi-faceted shape also creates a lesser target, with a less observable signature in radar, infrared, acoustic and visual ranges. With these advantages, the Stealth Star ensures greater survivability for its crew and troop contingent in combat.
Currently, contemporary helicopters have
only side door hung, forward-firing weapons and forward-facing
eyeballs. In the 75 years of air combat history,
more than 80 percent of the vanquished never saw the victor because
the defeated pilot was shot from the rear. The Stealth Star
offers the feature of a two-seat in tandem cockpit with the pilot
positioned in the first seat for unobstructed vision and the forward-firing
weapons operator is in the second seat, with the third and fourth
weapons operators in seats aft of the main cabin to control rear-facing
weapons. This firepower allows the Penetrator to perform
as an excellent shock assault troop lift gunship with air-to-air,
air-to-ground and ground-to-ground capability.
The Stealth Star, as a bristling troop lift gunship, has 360 degrees
of perimeter firepower for the assault at the Landing Zone, as
well as for air-to-air threats. Destruction of a Stealth
Star by sneak attack is literally impossible as long as the weapons
operators are in position. Its composite construction of
Kevlar reinforced by Nomex and the angular shape of its design
afford the Stealth Star ballistic resistance to small arms fire
and low observability.
The addition of the Stealth Stars troop-lift capability of a six man squad of soldiers, heavy ordnance of massive firepower capabilities puts the Stealth Star in a class second to none. It is truly a massive firepower shock assault-lift gunship designed and built to suit todays Mission Objective and with the ability to win.

NEW BATTLES, OLD WEAPONS
Countries must now defend themselves against the growing threats of small-scale conflicts. These elusive threats, from terrorism to border incursion, drug wars and insurgency, have forced the defense to take the high ground. And the best weapons for this new battlefield is specialized, highly advanced helicopters, designed to penetrate the new combat arena and withstand small arms fire.
Many government agencies cannot compete effectively in this new combat arena because their Vietnam-vintage helicopters are too old. These helicopters share obsolescence, redundancy, poor aerodynamics, ballistics vulnerability and often carry outmoded weaponry. Aluminum exteriors and blind spots make them vulnerable to small arms attack. The high heat signature from the helicopters turboshaft is an easy target for heat seeking ground missiles. History has shown that 90% of helicopters were downed by small arms fire and 80% of these never saw their attacker.
The cost of purchasing new, advanced helicopter systems is astronomical. And the process can take years of negotiation. AEROCRAFT can help you eliminate these obstacles.
THE AEROCRAFT SOLUTION
AEROCRAFT combines state-of-the-art capabilities in integrated helicopter systems with an economic formula that makes it a financial reality. Only the AEROCRAFT Strategic Advantage Program (ASAP) offers this technological and fiscal solution in one package.
Through its Strategic Advantage Program, AEROCRAFT transforms outdated helicopters into high-performance gun ships. AEROCRAFT works with governments to assess their aircraft technology needs then coordinates all facets of the transformation. Governments can now react to the changing face of conflict with unrivaled speed and flexibility. And at a cost they can afford.
Because of ASAP, governments can achieve state-of-the-art helicopter power in substantial less time than it takes to purchase a new helicopter. And, a reconfigured helicopter costs a fraction of the amount of a new one.
SUPERIOR TECHNOLOGY: THE Stealth Star
AEROCRAFT the pioneer of helicopter remanufacture. AEROCRAFT turns obsolete aircraft such as the Huey UH-1 into the Penetrator, its innovative, all-composite, high-performance gun ships.
The Penetrator retains the existing helicopters power train, gearboxes, transmission, rotor head, blades and control devices. AEROCRAFT then builds a series of advanced technological modifications on this platform.
A KEVLAR all-composite exterior provides
ten times the ballistic resiliency of aluminum. The high-visibility
cockpit design improves peripheral sight and eliminates blind
spots. A heat-suppressing device on the turbo shaft brings
the heat signature below the threshold of heat-seeking missiles.
The engine is isolated for increased survivability. Fifty
caliber machine guns are stored inside. And, new sophisticated
aerodynamics are unmatched by any other Western helicopter.
SCHEDULED AVAILABILTY
An existing helicopter can be reconfigured into a powerful Penetrator gun ship within 18 months. This is a significantly shorter time frame than the three to five-year schedule required purchasing a new helicopter. And, depending on the options required, up to three Stealth Star gun ships can be purchased for the cost of one new helicopter.
COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC SERVICES
Many governments need to quickly turn their existing weapons platforms into a powerful, responsive fleet. ASAP provides a viable solution, with a wide range of technical and strategic planning services:

AEROCRAFT: A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
AEROCRAFT is an international technical and strategic consulting corporation dedicated to making the process of turning obsolete aircraft into state-of-the-art gunships a fiscal reality. The company was created to help governments assess, support and transform their helicopter fleets.
AEROCRAFT calls on the experience of some of the most innovative aerospace engineers and consultant in the world. Led by President and founder, Robert Laura, AEROCRAFT offers expertise in all aspects of the aerospace industry. As a designer and inventor of many state-of-the-art helicopter, airplanes and boats, Mr. Laura has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience. And, he has formed a wide network of contacts during his 30 years in the industry.
The Stealth Star was built from an UH-1B frame. A mockup and mold was produced and a kevlar bulletproof body was made, with rear gunners and a total of four machine guns it is a great weapon. With a Lycoming T-53-11 engine freshly rebuilt the whole aircraft going through a complete restoration from the last time it flew 8 years ago. A new paint job, and the mechanical parts being removed and replaced and inspected by Chuck Aaron. This aircraft has UH-1B running gear, that means engine, trany, gear boxes and blades, this aircraft can also be equipped with Cobra gear that has a higher horsepower rating and performance this change would take a four month upgrade, it is being coincided by Robert Laura at this time.
The Stealth Star was a military project to gain manufacture ability to sell these helicopters, unfortunately it did not receive a contract and the company went bankrupt after it had put six million into the project. At this time two appraisals have been done on this aircraft one for 25 million and one for 23 million and one more will be done in a couple of weeks.
Robert Laura was impressed at the look
and ability of this helicopter; it was a great show ship for the
film industry.
Robert Laura has placed boats in the James Bond film and represented
Lockheed and Boeing and McDonnell Douglas in placing the F117
Stealth Fighter and the B-2 Bomber in its first feature film.
With this in mind the Stealth Star being one of a kind would be great for a film project, or a great helicopter to a collector.
